The "Tailored" process approach:

One of our key strengths is the experience and knowledge of our Technical Staff. This includes their ability to thoroughly examine a Customer's application resulting in a calculated and researched solution being recommended. The solution delivers cost savings through improved efficiences and/or tool life (in the case of machining).

The important part of the Asteg "Solution" is to ensure that the theoretical savings is quantified prior to implementation. Asteg then work with the customer to ensure the theoretical savings of the tool or instrument is realised.

Asteg sources the "Hard to get" item:

Asteg has built a reputation over the last 50+ years for sourcing that "hard to get" item as a result of our extensive network of overseas manufacturers.

Unlike many Australian Distributors, Asteg sources many of it's products directly from Overseas Manufacturers. This allows us to pass the savings onto our customers.

Warehousing / Distribution / Lead Times:

We are one of the largest stock holders of solid carbide in Australia. Due to our location in Adelaide, we can receive orders up until 4:00pm Central Australian Time and then ship to the Eastern or Western states for next day delivery.

We also place and receive shipments from our Overseas Supplier Partners on a daily and weekly basis.

With their manufacturing facilities located in Germany (Esslingen and Goettingen) and the USA (Mahr Federal), Mahr specialises in non contact measurement as well as, surface roughness measurement, contour measurement, form and roundness measurement, calibration and precision length measurement equipment.

SGS Tool Company offer a full range of leading-edge, high-performance cutting tools including, carbide drills, carbide end mills, carbide burrs, carbide reamers and carbide routers. SGS have developed a range of cutting tools which allow for the complexities of high-speed machining with particular focus upon the Aerospace, Automotive, Mold & Die, and Production Machining Applications.

Boride Engineered Abrasives is a leading U.S. producer of mold and diemaker abrasive finishing products. They offer many product variations to meet the diverse needs of polishers.
